Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting students with their learning and development, ensuring their individual needs are met
– Supporting classroom activities under the guidance of the teacher
– Encouraging students to actively participate in educational tasks and exercises
– Providing personal care and assistance to students with physical disabilities or other specific requirements
– Collaborating with the teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
– Demonstrated experience in working with students with special educational needs
– Strong understanding of SEND practices and strategies
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in students’ lives

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
