Zest Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Lichfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible basis, providing assistance to educators as and when required.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and possess excellent time management skills. Flexibility is key, as you will have the freedom to choose the days you work, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Whether you prefer working in different schools on different days or in the same school for short-term placements, this role offers a variety of experiences that can pave the way for longer-term opportunities.
To be considered, it is essential that you hold a Level 2 or above qualification in childcare. In addition, recent experience working as a teaching assistant will be highly advantageous. Your role will involve supporting classroom activities, assisting with student learning, and providing additional support for teachers.
Working as a Teaching Assistant can be a fulfilling and rewarding experience, allowing you to contribute to the development and growth of young learners. You will have the opportunity to work closely with teachers, gaining invaluable insight into the education system and building essential skills for your professional journey.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
