Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher

Job Description

Zest is currently helping a school in Washwood Heath to recruit for an engaging teacher to join their team from January 2023. The role will involve working in Year 6 so having experience with SATs is desired.  The role is initially for 2 terms but there is the opportunity for the role to extend for the right candidate.

The three form entry school is warm, friendly, and inviting, putting the children at the very heart of everything they do. The school provide a well-structured, exciting curriculum to all pupils no matter their needs. The school also has a strong focus on a number of values which were chosen by the school community as they believe these will help lead all children to success.

The successful candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the year 6 curriculum and have a range of techniques to deliver lessons to the class. You must also be organized, resilient and versatile whilst being approachable and a strong team player.

Planning will be provided however you will be required to complete some marking and assessment.

The pay for this from will range from £130- £190 a day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
