Zest Education is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated full-time teacher to start in January 2025. This position involves teaching a Year 1 class for the duration of a maternity contract covering the spring and summer terms. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to make a positive impact from day one.
The successful candidate for this role will possess a strong work ethic, a genuine passion for teaching, and the ability to adapt to various teaching styles. Excellent communication skills are a must, along with a fair and supportive approach to classroom management. A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and the ability to instil essential life skills in young learners are essential for success in this role.
Located in the vibrant community of Harborne, this primary school provides a nurturing environment for both Junior and Infants pupils. With strong ties to the local church, we strive to offer a diverse range of educational opportunities to ensure every child can reach their full potential and thrive.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
