Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Y5 teacher at a vibrant primary school in the Moseley area. This full-time role will commence after Easter and extend through the summer term, with the possibility of a permanent contract starting from September 2025 for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a lively and enthusiastic Y5 class who are eager to learn and engage in their studies. We are looking for an individual who is hardworking, reliable, and able to quickly establish positive professional relationships with children, colleagues, and parents alike.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers within the KS2 team
– Demonstrate a proactive approach to lesson planning and delivery
– Engage in continuous professional development opportunities
– Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all children
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or currently undergoing ECT
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
– Willingness to contribute innovative ideas for pupil development
– Commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
