Y5 teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time teacher to join a fantastic school in Selly Oak. This position is specifically for a Year 5 teacher and will commence as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and engaging individual who can quickly establish positive professional relationships with both pupils and colleagues. As part of the Key Stage 2 team, you will be responsible for preparing and planning lessons for the Year 5 class. In addition, you will be provided with PPA time throughout the week to ensure the highest standards of teaching are maintained.

To excel in this role, you must possess adaptability, reliability, and a strong work ethic. These qualities will enable you to effectively navigate the dynamic nature of the classroom environment and ensure that pupils receive the best possible education.

The school itself is an a well regarded Catholic primary known for its inclusive approach to education. With a diverse range of pupils, the school provides a supportive and nurturing environment. Furthermore, the school boasts excellent on-site facilities and a cohesive team that collaboratively works towards providing a first class education.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
