The Role:
Zest Education is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Balsall Heath to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher. This full-time role is set to begin after the October half term and will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential to become a longer-term position for the right candidate.

The school is well-regarded for its supportive leadership, strong community links, and focus on pupil progress and wellbeing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a Year 6 class through their crucial final year of primary education, preparing them for SATs and the transition to secondary school.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • Be committed to raising standards and delivering high-quality teaching and learning

  • Be proactive, flexible, and able to work collaboratively within a team
