Zest Education are working with a wonderful school in Telford who are looking for a teaching assistant to join their team working in a mixed year 1 and 2 class from September 2024 until at the end of the academic year. The school are looking for a candidate who is able to work full time during this period from Monday to Friday.

As a Year 1/2 Teaching Assistant at the wonderful school in Telford, your responsibilities will include supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will also be responsible for assisting with classroom management, preparing resources, and supervising students during activities and break times.

To excel in this role, you should have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents. Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is desirable, as well as a relevant qualification in education or childcare.
