Zest Education is collaborating with a charming school in Oldbury that is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. Working 4 days a week from October 2024 until Summer 2025, this role offers a unique opportunity for a work-life balance, with the flexibility of Tuesday to Friday hours.

The school’s curriculum is carefully crafted to engage students in a wide range of subjects and interests to allow all students to thrive no matter their academic ability and needs.
The successful candidate for this role must :
– Have a Qualified teacher status (QTS)
– Experience working with Year 1 students
– Strong knowledge of the key stage 1 national curriculum
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities of the role include:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons to inspire and educate Year 1 students
– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
The school are open to applications from both Early Career Teachers and Experienced teachers.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
