Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join an outstanding primary school in Burton. This exciting opportunity is available starting after Easter until the end of the term, with the possibility of extension.
Located in a central area that is easily accessible by both car and public transport, this primary school is known for putting children at the heart of everything they do. They strive to provide enriching opportunities to all pupils equally, ensuring a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
As a primary school teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to a year 1 class, marking work, supporting pupils in their learning journey, creating a positive classroom atmosphere, and upholding a high standard of behaviour in accordance with school policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Delivering engaging lessons to a year 1 class
– Marking student work and providing constructive feedback
– Supporting pupils in their learning and development
– Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Upholding high standards of behaviour in line with school policies
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting
– Knowledge of the national curriculum and relevant teaching strategies
– Understanding of safeguarding procedures
– Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
