Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a popular four form entry primary school located in Saltley. This part-time position will require you to work three days a week, providing an excellent opportunity for a work-life balance. The role is to start in February 2024 and will continue on a long term basis.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the educational development of young students. Your main responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. While the role primarily focuses on teaching, a small amount of planning will be required to ensure effective lesson delivery.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and possess excellent classroom management skills. You should be able to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of each student. Additionally, effective communication and collaboration with parents, colleagues, and school leadership are essential.
