Job Description

Are you a teacher looking for a part-time opportunity to achieve your desired work/life balance? Zest have an exciting position available at a lovely school in Burton for a dedicated teacher to join our team on a job share basis. This role requires working 3 days a week, starting from January 2024.

The school have a strong and committed team of staff who are dedicated to providing quality education and a nurturing environment for our students. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of the students.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons based on the curriculum guidelines
– Provide individualised support to students, ensuring their academic progress
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning
– Collaborate with the job share partner to ensure a smooth transition between teaching days
– Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress
– Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
– Proven experience teaching Year 2 students, preferably in a job share setting
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Organizational skills to effectively manage workload and student progress tracking

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
