Year 2 Class Teacher – Selly Oak (ASAP Start)

Full-Time | Long-Term Role | Paid to Scale | ECTs Welcome

Zest Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Year 2 Class Teacher to join a friendly and highly regarded 2-form entry primary school in Selly Oak. This role is available to start as soon as possible and will run on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role

As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering exciting and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Working closely with the parallel Year 2 teacher to share planning and ideas
  • Providing high-quality assessment to ensure pupils make strong progress
  • Establishing consistent routines and maintaining a calm, positive learning environment
  • Building excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
