Year 2 Class Teacher

Zest Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join a 2 form entry primary school in Burton. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team of educators and supportive staff members.

The primary school is a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential. The school values creativity, curiosity, and collaboration, providing a well-rounded education that inspires a love for learning. This is a part time position (3 days a week) starting immediately with the potential to transfer to full time.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success
– Participate in school events and extracurricular activities

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching in a primary school setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
– Commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
