Job Description

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a reputable school in Uttoxeter on a part-time basis from September 2024 to July 2024. The school are looking for a candidate who is willing to work 3 days a week across this period, the school are open to working days.

To be successful in this position you must:
– Hold a relevant teaching qualification and be fully qualified as a teacher
– Possess experience working with primary school students, specifically Year 2
– Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Showcase a passion for education and a commitment to student development
– Have a valid DBS check and necessary certifications or be willing to purchase a DBS Certificate

As a Year 2 Teacher with Zest Education, your responsibilities will include:
– Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
– Assessing student progress and adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs
– Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
– Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student’s progress
– Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

The school are open to applications from both ECT’s and Experienced teachers.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
