Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives? Zest Education are seeking a skilled Year 2 teacher to join a team of staff at a reputable school located in Smethwick. The school are looking for a teacher to work on a part time basis, 3 times a week for at least 1 academic term starting from December 2024.
As a Year 2 teacher, you will have the chance to inspire and educate young learners, fostering their growth and development during this crucial stage of their education. Your role will involve creating engaging lesson plans, delivering curriculum content effectively, and providing a supportive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities for the role include:
– Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards.
– Use various teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students.
– Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for all students.
– Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians.
The successful candidate for this position must:
– Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
– Relevant teaching certification.
– Experience working with Year 2 students, understanding their development and learning needs.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– A passion for education and a dedication to fostering a love for learning among students.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
