Job Description

Zest Education, in collaboration with a school in Stafford, is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a part-time basis until the end of the academic year. Roles and Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate Year 2 students
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued
– Monitor and assess student progress to ensure individual learning needs are met
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
– Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Previous experience teaching Year 2 students is desirable
– Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum and assessment practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
– Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
