Year 2 Teacher, Lozells.

Zest Education is working closely with a large primary school in the Lozells area that is looking for a full time Year 2 Teacher. This role is initially for one term starting in September 2022, but the school are keen to take somebody on permanent.

It is just outside the centre of the town with good transport links to and from the school. New funding has been made available and a big refurbishment programme is due to take place over this year’s summer holidays with new outdoor space and new interactive system which will enhance learning. A new SEND area is also going to be built which will ensure all academic abilities get the best possible start to their education.

The successful candidate must be able to role up their sleeves and get stuck in. They must have an in-depth knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and able to convey it to a mixture of academic abilities. As is most common in KS1 roles, the successful candidate must be hands on with the pupils and have an active hand in the development.

Both NQT’s and experienced teachers will be considered for this position. If you have previous EYFS experience, then this would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be given full support during their job transition.
