Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is closely working with a charming school in Telford that is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time position is available until the end of the academic year.
Situated in Telford, our partner school is known for its warm and inclusive learning environment. As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the classroom teacher and contributing to the educational progress of students. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, delivering tailored support to students, monitoring progress, and creating a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic educational setting.

Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with primary school students

– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (desired)

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
