Zest Education is recruiting for a Year 3/4 Teacher to work at a primary school in Tamworth from September 2024.

This primary school is looking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious practitioner to join their dynamic team and teach in a wonderful Year 3/4 class.

This is a vibrant primary school in Tamworth which was judged to be Outstanding by Ofsted.. They have a hardworking, dedicated team of staff who show a commitment to continually raising standards. Their children are polite and friendly with a genuine willingness to learn. First and foremost, they are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning and is an excellent teacher with good subject knowledge and experience of leading subjects to a high standard.

 

Skills we are looking for:

An excellent classroom practitioner

An understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues in relation to primary education

Knowledge of the KS2 SATs

Creative and stimulating teaching strategies which engage and motivate pupils

Experience of leading and developing a subject area(s), otherwise a clear curriculum passion.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The ability to work as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team

Someone who is committed to raising standards

Someone who has the highest expectations for behaviour

A creative and enthusiastic individual

An ability to model good practice and engage in self-reflection

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
