Zest Education is proud to be working alongside a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Cannock area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher. This full-time role is set to begin in September 2025 and offers an exciting opportunity to join a committed team focused on delivering high-quality education.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class, delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. The school is looking for someone who can inspire young minds, maintain high expectations, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver outstanding lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leadership

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within KS2, ideally in a mixed-age class

  • Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing teaching style

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • A commitment to raising standards and making a difference in children’s education

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
