Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Year 3/4 Teacher for a welcoming and supportive primary school in Tamworth. This exciting teaching role is a full-class position, starting in January and continuing until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

As a Year 3/4 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a vibrant and motivated mixed-age class. The successful teacher will plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire pupils to reach their full potential across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

You will work alongside a friendly team of teachers and support staff who share a strong commitment to providing high-quality education in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons as a dedicated class teacher for Year 3/4 pupils.

  • Create a positive classroom environment where all children are encouraged to achieve and thrive.

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.

  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and senior leaders to enhance learning experiences.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support the wider school community.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience working as a primary teacher, ideally within Key Stage 2.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A proactive, creative, and committed approach to teaching.

  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage children in their learning.
