Zest Education is currently working with a charming school in Dudley that is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is due to begin in January 2024 and will continue on a ongoing basis. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work from Monday to Wednesday, ensuring a desirable work-life balance while still making a difference in the classroom. The school are open to discuss with the candidate the required working days.

The school are looking for a candidate who has prior experience working with year 3 or similiar aged children with a QTS or equivalent status. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, be able to create engaging lesson plans, and foster a supportive learning environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues are essential for this position.
Responsibilities of this role include:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
– Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
– Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ performance
– Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
