Job Description

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Burton-upon-Trent. This is a full-time teaching role starting after February half term and running until the end of the academic year.

This is a full class responsibility role, so applicants must be able to commit to planning, teaching, assessment, and wider classroom duties.

The Role:

  • Full-time Year 3 Teacher

  • Teaching a KS2 class with full responsibility

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records

  • Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and leadership

  • Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Confident teaching Year 3 / Key Stage 2

  • Able to commit to the role until the end of the academic year

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Passionate about primary education and pupil progress

  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are encouraged to apply
