Year 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school located in Lichfield. This part-time role (4 days a week) offers the potential to transition to a full-time position, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development. The role will start in January 2025.

Responsibilities:
– Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
– Supporting individual students with their learning needs
– Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborating with colleagues to ensure student progress and well-being
– Providing feedback to students and parents/guardians on progress

Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with primary school children, preferably in a year 3 setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– A passion for education and supporting student development
– Relevant qualifications in teaching assistance or education (desirable but not essential)
– Enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding training

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
