Zest Education is delighted to announce a fantastic job opportunity for a Year 3 Teaching Assistant at a charming primary school in Dudley. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team on a full-time basis starting from November 2024 lasting until at least April 2025.
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher, assisting with the educational and pastoral development of students, and creating a positive learning environment. The wonderful school based in Dudley has a wonderful reputation within the local community and parents. The dedicated team of staff have worked hard to create a positive learning environment for all children no matter their ability and interests.
As a year 3 teaching assistant, you play a crucial role in supporting the teacher and students in various aspects of their learning journey. The roles responsibilities will include:
– Support the year 3 teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
– Assist in creating educational resources and materials for classroom activities
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their learning
– Supervise students during class and break times to ensure their safety and well-being
– Assist in assessing students’ progress and providing feedback to the teacher
– Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and motivate young learners. Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications would be required for this position. The school are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of key stage 2 curriculum. Pay will begin from £77.00 per day and will depend on experience and references.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
