We are currently working alongside a small and friendly primary school in Stechford who are looking for teaching assistant to support year 4 and year 5 on a part time basis. This will be to start as soon as possible and last until the end of the academic year.

This school aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment to develop successful and confident lifelong learners. They place an emphasis on their curriculum and the fact that it is interactive, which gives opportunities and experiences that will enrich the pupils lives. It is important to the school that they maintain high expectations, to continue to challenge the pupils and continue development.

In this role you will be required to be flexible and able to adapt as you will be going between two different year groups with students that will have different requirements and needs. You will be working alongside the class teacher to deliver lessons that are engaging and in line with the current curriculum. It will be your responsibility to provide support to individuals or small groups that may need the extra supervision with tasks that they may be struggling with and report any progress to the relevant member of staff and parents/careers.

As a successful candidate for this role, you will be required to have experience in a relevant setting and hold an enhanced DBS which is on the update service or will be willing to obtain one. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
