Zest Education are delighted to be working alongside a lovely little school in Telford who are looking for a passionate year 4 teacher to join their innovative team of staff. With the part-time role starting in January 2024 and continuing for at least one school term, this is the best time to get registered to allow for a smooth and comfortable transition into the year 4 class.
Working closely with the local community, parents and governing bodies, the school are proud to offer a creative learning environment and curriculum that allows each individual student to grow and flourish in a nurturing environment. Having secure onsite parking facilities and regular public transport routes, the school appeals and is easily accessible to both driving and non-driving candidates. Having a close-knit, enthusiastic and hard-working team of staff who are committed to providing the very best for each individual in their care, the successful candidate will also have a support teaching assistant in class to help create a healthy learning environment. Due to the position being a part-time role, the successful candidate will need strong communication skills to work alongside another lead teacher, delegating marking, planning and delivery responsibilities.
The school are looking for a teacher who will:

- Has an excellent understanding of the national curriculum expectations.
- Has experience of assessments within the primary phase.
- Can promote the highest outcomes for all children through strong teaching.
- Is flexible in their approach and excited by teaching through innovative and engaging activities.
- Is reflective of their own practice and responds positively to feedback and evaluation.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Previous experience within a year 4 environment is desirable however not essential for the role.
Pay is dependent on references and experience with daily rates starting at £130-190.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
