Year 4 teacher

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Year 4 teacher to join a dedicated team at a school in Moseley, Birmingham. The role will be starting in January 2024 until the end of the academic year.

As a part-time teacher (0.6 contract) you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the education of our students. With a flexible schedule of three days per week, you will be able to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing quality education to the Year 4 class.

One of the key aspects of this role is the high number of EAL pupils within the school. Ideally, a teacher who has previous experience of working with high numbers of EAL would be advantageous.  We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about working with diverse pupils populations and has experience in supporting EAL learners. Your ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment will be crucial in helping these students thrive academically and socially.

The school is a two-form entry school, which means you will have the opportunity to collaborate and share ideas with your fellow KS2 teachers. Planning will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons to meet the needs of your class.

If you are a dedicated and passionate educator who believes in the power of education to transform lives, we would love to hear from you. To apply for this position, please send your CV and a cover letter to email Charlie at charlie@zesteducation.co.uk or ‘apply for job’ at the top of the page to submit your details.
