Job Description:

Zest are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Year 4 Teacher to join the school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to a diverse group of students, ensuring that every child achieves their full potential. This role requires a strong commitment to student welfare and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum standards for Year 4 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 4 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
