Position: Year 5 Early Career Teacher – Part time or Full time basis
Location: Outskirts of Erdington, Birmingham
Start Date: September 2024

Role Overview:
As a Year 5 Early Career Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and guiding our students through their academic journey. You will have the opportunity to create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver a rich and diverse curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active student engagement and understanding.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and share best practices.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to student success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently enrolled in a recognized teacher training program.
  • Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students lives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
