Year 5 Part-Time Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching and looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? We are currently seeking a part-time teacher to join a school in Moseley. If you have a love for education and enjoy working with children, this position might be perfect for you. 

You will be expected to work 3 days a week teaching a Year 5 class.  As a part-time teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students while maintaining a work-life balance. You will be required to prepare and deliver engaging lessons as well as support the students. Your other responsibilities will include:

– Creating a supportive, secure and innovative learning environment.

– Implementing behaviour management strategies.

– Provide students, staff, parent/guardians with feedback in regard to progress and achievements.

– Build positive and strong relationships with both staff and students.

You must have…

  • Relevant experience teaching in an education-based setting.
  • Have an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in helping children achieve academically.
  • Have a Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
