Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Cannock starting January 2025. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday for the full school day.

Responsibilities:
– Assist the Year 5 class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
– Support individual students in their learning and development
– Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Assist with planning and preparation of teaching materials
– Provide feedback to students and communicate with parents as needed

Requirements:
– Experience working with children in an educational setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Passion for supporting the learning and development of young students
– Relevant qualifications in education or related field
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
