Year 5 Teacher – Primary School
Location: Stafford | Start Date: ASAP | Pay: £130-170 per day
Zest Education is delighted to be supporting a thriving and forward-thinking primary school seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their upper KS2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner who is passionate about inspiring pupils as they progress through a crucial stage of their learning.
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where all pupils feel valued
Deliver creative learning experiences to develop pupils’ confidence and independence
Use assessment to monitor progress and inform future teaching
Differentiate activities to meet a range of learning needs
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold high standards
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 5
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A positive, reflective, and proactive approach to teaching
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
