Year 5 Teacher

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Burton-on-Trent. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator looking to make a real difference.

 Role Details:

• Position: Year 5 Class Teacher

• Location: Burton-on-Trent

• Start Date: Immediate

• Hours: Full-time, school hours

• Contract: Long-term (with potential for extension)

 Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Manage behaviour effectively and support pupil progress

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

• Take on full classroom responsibilities, including assessments and reporting

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
