Year 5 Teacher

Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with experience teaching Year 5 students? Zest Education is currently seeking a highly motivated Year 5 teacher to join their team at a vibrant primary school in Marston Green. This full-time position will commence in April 2024 and continue until the end of the academic year.

As a Year 5 teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for your students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the class. This includes implementing an effective curriculum aligned with national standards, promoting independent thinking, and encouraging active participation.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Your ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, where every child feels valued and respected, will be vital to their overall development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 5 students.

– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes independent thinking.

– Employ various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective curriculum plans.

– Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student performance and well-being.

Requirements:

– Qualified teacher status (QTS)

– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Passion for education and a genuine interest in the well-being of every student.

– Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

 

The pay for this role will start from £140 a day. The school are advising both experienced teachers and ECT’s to apply for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
