Year 6 Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a qualified teacher to join a primary school located in Coventry starting in November 2024. This ongoing role offers the chance to make a difference in the lives of Year 6 students as they prepare for their transition to secondary education.

As a Year 6 teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering independent learning and inspiring students through an engaging and stimulating curriculum. You will be responsible for evaluating student growth and achievement, supporting SAT preparation, and creating a dynamic learning environment that meets high academic standards.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will collaborate with parents, governors, and fellow teachers to support whole school improvement initiatives. Your commitment to following school policies and procedures, establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, and implementing effective disciplinary measures will be essential to the success of the year group.

To excel in this role, you must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), possess successful DBS and safeguarding clearance, and have a solid understanding of the national curriculum. Previous experience in a primary school setting, along with the ability to motivate and inspire students, is crucial. Strong IT skills are also required for daily tasks in this role.
