Year 6 Teacher – Primary School
Location: Stafford | Start Date: ASAP | Pay: £130-£170 per day
Zest Education is proud to be working with a dedicated and supportive primary school seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their upper KS2 team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and skilled practitioner who can help pupils achieve their full potential during this crucial stage of their education.
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Prepare pupils effectively for SATs and the transition to secondary school
Create a positive, structured, and inspiring learning environment
Use assessments to track progress and inform teaching
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6 expectations
Experience preparing pupils for SATs (desirable)
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
A reflective, committed, and resilient teaching approach
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
