Year 6 teacher – full time

We are recruiting for a full time Year 6 teacher to join an outstanding school in Solihull. The position will be from September 2022 for the full academic year, with a view to turn permanent for the summer term 2023.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold valid QTS
  • Be consistent in maintaining high standards
  • Have good behaviour management and people skills
  • Demonstrate high standards and expectations
  • Have previous experience of supporting KS2 pupils through SAT’s
  • Be a strong team player with good communication skills
  • Demonstrate the highest regard for health and safety and safeguarding procedures

What the role will involve:

  • Working within an enthusiastic and polite Y6 class
  • Planning and resourcing for fun, challenging and engaging lessons
  • Full support for the entirety of the role
  • Half day PPA cover
  • Understanding the importance of supporting children of all needs through their SAT’s
  • Sharing your ideas and expertise with the team for the benefit of the children
