Year 6 Teacher, Birmingham.

Zest Education is delighted to be exclusively working with a large school in the Handsworth region. The role is full time and is due to start in September 2022. This role is for one term with the strong possibility of an extension for the full academic year.

This school is rated by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’. The schools KS2 department has been leading the way for some years now and always sets examples to other local schools on how constantly adapt and improve to changing circumstances. The school caters for a wide range of academic abilities and has a fantastic support network for the pupils. The KS2 department has had fantastic results and are keen to continue this with the addition of a new Year 6 Teacher.

The successful candidate must be dedicated and enthusiastic about teaching Year 6 pupils. The school and pupils work to very high standards and given that Year 6 is a crucial year, those standards must be maintained. They must also have in-depth curriculum knowledge and be able to express that to their class and the varying academic abilities within it. Importantly, the school expects the very best from teachers and pupils each day so dedication to the school and to the pupils is vital.

Bot newly qualified teachers and more experienced teachers will be considered for this role. If you have experience in a upper KS2 setting, then this would be advantageous however please do take note of the qualities needed as listed above. The successful candidate will be given full support by Zest Education and the school during the transition into their new role.
