Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will work closely with the classroom teacher to support the learning and development of students. Responsibilities will include providing one-on-one assistance to students, helping with lesson preparation, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with students of varying abilities.

Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting student learning

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
