Zest Education is collaborating with a delightful school in Kingswinford in search of a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position involves supporting Year 4 students and contributing to their educational journey until the end of the academic year. The role requires the successful candidate to work Monday and Tuesday from January 2025 until at least April 2025.

Responsibilities of the role include:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help
– Help in the preparation of learning materials and resources
– Supervise students during class and outdoor activities
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
To be successful within this position you should:
– Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
– A passion for supporting student learning and development
– Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Pay will begin from £77.00 per day and will depend on experiences and references.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
