This role is vital in assisting with the preparation for SATs and supporting the students during this crucial stage of their education.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in preparing students for their SATs exams. This will involve assisting with lesson planning, providing one-on-one support to students who may need extra help, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to student welfare and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the teaching team.

Requirements:
– Experience working in a similar role within a primary school setting
– Knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education
– Relevant qualifications in education or a related field

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
