We are recruiting for a qualified teaching assistant/ classroom assistant in the Burton upon Trent area for an ongoing role to start in April 2022.
The school itself is a local busy school which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a high number of EAL students. The team here also work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive ethos across all areas of the school and put the children at the heart of what they do.
The role will require you to quickly build engaging relationships with small groups of children, and you will need to work well as a team with the class teacher as well as other teaching assistants.
The pay will be dependent on experience and references of the successful candidate.
Both newly qualified and experienced classroom assistants are encouraged to apply for this role.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
