Candidates

Looking for supply work? You’re in the right place.

As a specialist education agency, you can be assured that we will be able to find you exactly what you want. Everything that we do revolves around what you want, and need, as an individual – whether that be full time, long term work or the odd day here and there to fit in with your lifestyle.

With over 50 years’ of dedicated education recruitment experience, we have exclusive and longstanding relationships with local schools, meaning that we will likely have roles, or access to schools, that you won’t have access to through any other agency. We also understand everything that you go through on a daily basis when working in schools, nurseries and other provisions.

SUPPLY WORK
Early Career Teachers

We also specialise in helping Early Career Teachers in finding their perfect school through our dedicated ECT Pool. We are proud to say that over 65% of the Early Career Teachers that registered with us this academic year, went on to start their induction terms.

Over the years, we have covered just about every single role possible within a school, from Teachers to Caretakers, from Admin Support to Teaching Assistants, so get in touch if you are wanting to find out more.

The Process

We pride ourselves on the level of our compliance and safeguarding checks.

Our rigorous, yet efficient, compliance and safeguarding process is audited by the REC, and we are proud to hold their highest accreditation – the Gold Standard in Education Recruitment. This also allows us to be a Crown Commercial Service Supplier, so you can have the peace of mind you’re joining a trustworthy and dependable agency.

Step 1

Your journey with Zest will begin with a phone call where we can establish exactly what you are looking for and how we will be able to help with that.

We will talk through your experience of working with children and young people, as well as conducting any pre-interview safeguarding checks, including talking through which references we will need and be applying for.

We will then be able to book an online video registration at a day and time that suits you.

Step 2

You will receive a confirmation email after the call, confirming the date and time of the registration, as well as detailing all of the documentation that we will need (click here).

A second email will be received with a link to our online registration forms. These forms have to be completed prior to your registration video call and will take you no longer than 15 minutes.

A third email will be received giving you a direct link to the video registration if you are doing this on a platform such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Step 3

Your video registration will take place and will be the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other better and sight the documentation that we require.

We will tell you the schools that we work with, so you have the peace of mind that, not only will you be working, you will be working locally too. We will then find out more about you as an individual – your experience, your skillset, your preferences of year groups and everything else that we will need to be able to find you your ideal schools.

This will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions that weren’t asked on the initial call.

Step 4

Following your video registration, we will require you to send all of the documentation that we sighted on the call.

We will then forward your file to our dedicated Compliance and Safeguarding Team, who will process your file and run the necessary checks. They will also inform you of anything else that we will require to make your file compliant for work.

Once everything that we require, as well as your references and a DBS (if applicable), is back, your file will be cleared for work and your consultant will be in touch.
