ECT/Early Careers Teacher

Are you a recently qualified ECT? Are you sitting at home wanting to get back into the classroom? Do you want an agency you can trust? If so we can help you. Zest Education works exclusively with an Outstanding primary school in Lichfield who are looking to recruit a ECT/NQT for a job opportunity in KS1, to start September 2022. The school are able to support through your NQT/ECT terms and provide you with CPD throughout.

The school is passionate about providing the best quality of education, care and support for all their pupils and put them at the centre of everything they do. The school has high expectations of everyone is all aspects of school life, including a strong partnership with parents and the community. The school supports training and development for all of its staff and is continually looking for strong team players to join their team.

You will need to demonstrate good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, but also be able to tailor this and your teaching strategies to best suit the needs of the children. The school are ideally looking for someone who is passionate, driven and motivated to achieving the very best results and ensuring they have strong classroom management at all times. You must ensure the classroom is left in an appropriate manner, with all marking complete for the following day. Excellent organisation and communication skills is essential.

Pay is dependant on experience: £110 – 132 per day.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
