Part time teacher

Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching young children and making a difference in their lives? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Y1 teacher to join our wonderful team in Swadlincote.

As a part-time Y1 teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to our lovely Y1 class. The position will require your presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, allowing you to balance your commitments and enjoy a flexible schedule.

Starting in February 2024, this position is available for one term, giving you the opportunity to make a positive impact on the development of our young learners. Your creativity, patience, and excellent classroom management skills will be key in fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A solid understanding of the Y1 curriculum and the ability to implement effective teaching strategies are also essential for this role.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
