Year 6 Teacher

Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to teach Year 6 students? Zest Education is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our team starting in January 2024 for a 1 term contract at a high-performing school in Cannock.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons to Year 6 students, following the national curriculum guidelines.
– Carry out effective assessments to track students’ progress and identify areas for improvement.
– Provide detailed feedback and guidance to students to support their academic growth.
– Collaborate with the school’s leadership team and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Prepare students for the SATs exams, offering targeted support and assistance to help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Year 6 students.
– A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
– Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal development.
– Enthusiasm and passion for teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
