Are you a recently qualified ECT/NQT?  Do you want an agency you can trust who works with local schools in your area? If so we can help you. Zest Education is working in close partnership with a lovely school located in Burton on Trent who are looking to recruit a ECT/NQT for a job opportunity in KS1, to start September 2022. The school are able to support through your NQT/ECT terms and provide you with CPD throughout.

The school is a busy primary which caters for a broad range of pupils, including a high number of EAL students, and has a supportive and inclusive ethos across all year groups. The school benefits from excellent outdoor facilities and has a supportive SLT.

You will need to demonstrate good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, but also be able to tailor this and your teaching strategies to best suit the needs of the children. You must maintain strong behaviour management, providing continuity to the class and students. You must ensure the classroom is left in an appropriate manner, with all marking complete for the following day. The ability to build strong and effective working relationships is essential for this role, so if you feel you meet the criteria we’d love to hear from you!

Pay is dependant on experience: £110 – 132 per day.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
