Zest Education is currently recruiting for a part-time Teaching Assistant position at a reputable primary school in Burntwood.
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing the educational experience of students in Key Stage 2.
In this dynamic role, you will be working closely with experienced teachers, assisting in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring their learning needs are met. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential in order to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a level 2 or above qualification in childcare. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in KS2 is also essential, as it will enable you to adapt quickly to the curriculum requirements and provide targeted support to students. Your knowledge and understanding of KS2 learning objectives will be crucial in helping students to achieve their full potential.
This part-time position requires a commitment of 3 days per week and is available to start as soon as possible. The initial contract will be for at least one term, with the potential for extension based on performance and school requirements. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
